As discussed in other forum thread, a relation between consciousness and the concept of illusion is usually established. This brought the paradigm of solipsism into my mind.
Solipsism is the philosophical idea that all that exists is subjectivity. Solipsists claim that there is nothing except your mind, and it is actually your mind which is creating the rest of the things you are aware of. That is to say that everything but your mind is an illusion.
To be honest, I don’t know of any author that supports this account. I don’t think it is a plausible position. However, I admit that it is impossible to refute empirically. Any additional ideas about this?
