How this site is built - 2007/04/11 12:40 As some people is asking the same question I put a brief answer in the site FAQs section:

How is this site built? (http://www.conscious-robots.com/en/faqs/site-faqs/how-is-this-site-built-2.html).

As you can notice, almost 100% of the site is built from GNU GPL license software components. The initial list of components is given in the mentioned FAQ. However, as I keep updating and upgrading the site the list is often enhanced with new components. I'll try to post www.conscious-robots.com site component list updated in this forum thread.

Re:How this site is built - 2007/04/11 13:10 Some changes have been done during the past weeks:

- The Clossary component has been installed and associated GlossarBot [1], which highlights words contained in the glossary and shows their deffinition.

- Another Google Site Map Generator (GSG)[2] has been installed and associated glossary plug-in in order to notify Google the URLs of glossary terms.

- A project manager component (temporarily) called Hydra [3] has been installed. Available only for some registered users it is used to manage research and final year projects.

- Another site map generator has been installed. samSiteMap [4] generates a more complete site map offering several display and search options. The Joomap generator is still used to generate a google site map.

- The meta tag cloud module [5] have been patched to correctly represent tag hits.

- A modified version of J!Tags mambot [6] has been installed to add related tags at the end of every content. I modified the code to call site search instead of linking to Technorati. I already had the technoraty 'tag it' link using the tagbot mambot.

- Comment tracking is now possible using Co.mments button added to the Tagbot list of social tag sites [7].

- Related items are shown at the end of every content using the Related Items Bot [8].

- Minor code changes have been done is some of these components in order to adapt the look and feel to the modified version of the new frontend template taken from Mamboteam [9].
