May 2007 Community Technical Preview of the Microsoft Robotics Studio 1.5 has been released as announced by Trandy Trower, Genral Manager, Microsoft Robotics Group.

Microsoft Robotics is following the same approach they proved successfully with the release of the first version of Robotics Studio. Now, is the turn of version 1.5, and this month they are releasing the second CTP of version 1.5. Some remarkable features added to the toolkit are:
- Support for Windows CE and Windows Mobile.
- Full compilation of services for VPL.
- Visual Studio templates for C# and VB.net projects.
- DSS Binary serialization.
- DSS User Guide.
Additionally, the following separate components have been enhanced:
- The Soccer Simulation package now includes simulated four-legged robots. These are called 'RobuDog' from Robosoft.
- The Robot Sumo Simulation package now includes support for CE.
