MySpace.com using the CCR - 2008/01/24 20:17
As you probably know, the Robotics Studio main libraries, DSS and CCR, can be used for other purposes in addition to robotics. If you are familiar with the coding patterns that can be implemented with CCR in order to manage concurrency and asynchronous input-ouput, it’s clear to suppose that it can be quite useful in other sort of applications.
I don’t really know if it is official or not, but it has been said by folks at Microsoft that MySpace is using the CCR in their service. I don’t know where exactly the MySpace.com dev team is using the CCR. Anyhow, it’s interesting to see that the same libraries are being used outside robotics…
