simualted sonar and logged sonar readings - 2008/10/10 10:42
hi. this is just a follow up to my previous question. i was reading the code for simulated sonar and i noticed there was something like a "do not send any data unless connected." i noticed that there are "connect" buttons on the control panel of the simulator. i also noticed that, assuming i'm correct, the simulated sonar has to be on a robot to work.
since i'm attempting something similar to simulated sonar but instead it's reading from a file, i don't really want it on a robot. it should really just be sending messages about new updates to the sonar readings. is this a feasible idea? also, an update on my status concerning the loggedsonar service, i'm lost. hahaha....
