Raúl Arrabales Moreno

CURRICULUM VITAE

Raúl Arrabales is a Computer Scientis, MBA and PhD in Computer Science & IT. Arrabales has a working experience of over 12 years both in public university - as researcher and lecturer - and privately held companies - as executive officer, project manager and IT consultant. He has worked primarily in the digital content industry for several leading international companies like IBM, nCUBE (Arris), Nokia and T-Online. He is currently the Digital Content Development Area Manager at U-tad.

Arrabales is the author of multiple international papers on Machine Consciousness and Cognitive Robotics and he is a regular collaborator in several AI research and science outreach projects. His main research focus is on the application of artificial cognitive systems to video games, serious games and advanced human-computer interfaces. In this field, Arrabales has been leading several award-winning projects like the first-place bot at the 2K BotPrize 2010 international competition and as co-founder and CEO of Comaware, a start-up awarded the 2011 National University Entrepreneur first prize.
